Visitor activity

We count requests for public pages and vehicle listings so we can see which stock people look at and improve the website. For each view, the application records the time, page path, approximate country when a local IP lookup is available, and the referring website's domain if your browser provides it. Search terms and full referring URLs are not recorded.

Your IP address is used briefly to estimate a country; the application does not save it in its analytics table. We do not use analytics cookies, third-party analytics scripts, or an identifier to follow you between pages. These figures count page views, not distinct people. Individual page-view records are deleted after 90 days. Anonymous daily totals by page, country and referring domain are kept for the current calendar year and four preceding years.

We use our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website for this limited activity. Standard IIS access and security logs may separately record technical request information; those logs are managed on our server.

Enquiries and staff access

If you email or message us, we use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, whose own privacy terms then apply. Staff sign-in uses cookies needed to keep staff accounts secure; public visitor analytics does not use those cookies.

If you create a seller account, we store your name, email address, optional account address, and the details you submit about vehicles and collection locations. Vehicle enquiries may include photos, registration or VIN, and expected prices. We use the vehicle data lookup service to show matching vehicle details for you to check before submitting. Submitted enquiries and photos are available to authorised staff for review; the staff notification email contains a link to the enquiry rather than its details.

Stock update emails

If you sign up, we send a confirmation link before adding your email address to our Mailgun mailing list. We record the signup request, confirmation time and source as evidence of your choice. Unconfirmed requests are removed periodically after expiry; you can ask us to remove your confirmation record. Every stock update includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Mailgun processes delivery, unsubscribe and campaign interaction events for these emails.
